Western Digital Caviar 500gb...

Alright review time,

Today we are looking at the Western Digital 500gb SATAII HDD. This is a very good inexpensive drive. The average seek time is 8.9ms, and the average write time is 10.9ms with a 4.2ms average latency. It operates using the SATAII interface. It is fairly quite, which is great if you are using it in an office or HTPC environment.

I give this a 9/10, only because it is not a high performance drive.
